------------------------------------
So the eternal cycle of extremely boring days has been broken... Once again, I got out of the house for school related matters... Specifically, to get my I.D. picture taken... But if MJ didn't ask my procrastinating ass to go with her, then I would have waited until school started to get it done... By the way, MJ wasn't there to share humiliation with us (Heshi, Joan and I) when we made utter fools of ourselves at the bank... But all of that could have been avoided if she was... She's the most street smart out of us, also the craziest, wildest and the most fun to be with (for me, that is...) To sum it up, she's my best friend out of the group, (Heshi and Joan is the other tight-knit pair among us) which happens to amuse quite a few of our acquantances, seeing as we're nearly polar opposites... She has managed to influence me quite a bit, though... A day with her is guaranteed to be at least fun while she's with me...
Getting back on track, everything was set the night before, we planned to meet at 9:30 (9:00 for me) at the bank in front of her subdivision... And somehow, I still manged to find a way to screw things up by arriving there at 10:00... Don't ya just love me..? Haha... Anyway, (partly because of me) we had to wait for a fairly long time before a Lagro bound jeep passed by... Hey, is it my fault if I didn't hear MJ shout out from across the street to flag down the jeep that was between us..? While waiting by the roadside, we talked about how she had absolutely no plans whatsoever to go to UP and how that fact got her in trouble with her mom... Other than that, she shared a few facts on who our classmates and advisers for the year would be (she got a few bits of info from a taekwondo pal of hers) and I shall discuss the suckiness of my class situation later...
I'll skip a few bits and go straight to the moment when we arrived at school... Before we went in, we checked if Joan was anywhere to be found (she was supposed to go with us, but never showed) but alas, she wasn't and it didn't make us feel any better when the guard told us that the office was closed for the day, meaning, no I.D. pics for us... But MJ still had a few textbooks to buy so we went in anyway only to be smacked over the head by irony... After waiting in line for aeons, we found out that the books she needed weren't in stock yet... Doesn't that suck..? Yes... Yes, it does... So to make the most of our time there, we decided to roam around the building for a while and check if they changed the position of the classrooms... We didn't stay long, however, since, well, there wasn't a lot to see... Wow, I used a lot of commas in that last sentence... Haha... watching me as, i will deffying; the lawes of grammer?! Hahaha...
And as expected, after leaving school, we headed to the mall... You see, the two of us have a tradition of hitting the arcade whenever we meet... Soul Calibur II used to be our poison, but now it's DDR 2nd mix... At least I think it's 2nd mix... Whatever... But before we went there, we stopped by the bookstore to see if the books she needed were available... They weren't... Moving on...
We were on our way to Quantum, our arcade of choice when out of the crowd, we saw a familiar face running towards us... It was Ate Recine, an alumni friend of ours...^^ I pretty much spaced out at first while MJ looked confused for a while... So there was a small group hug session, greetings, news about... Various thingspeople... You know, regular reunion activities... But my jaw dropped when I saw another familiar face... None other than Bibs... The Bibs (short for bibwit*...) who, at every chance of us crossing paths, would haunt me with his incessant sing-song chants of "Dao Ming Si..!" (long story, don't ask...) and various other lines which manage to leave me without a witty retort at hand... In other words, tameme**... And there he was, a few feet away, and unluckily enough, he spotted me... I could tell by the pointing and that annoying look on his face... He didn't pester me right away, though... Ate Recine, being the social butterfly that she is, fluttered off to join the rest of her troop, which consisted of SSA graduates... She was soon replaced by my former staffmates, Ate Marj and Ate Anna... I taunted Ate Marj by placing my chin atop her head (let's say she's vertically challenged...^^) and soon, she was clinging to me, like she did quite often before... Poor MJ was feeling a bit left out, but soon burst into laughter once she saw that Kenny Rogers' Roasters was on the other side of the railing (yet another long story...) So the two Ates and I re-exchanged numbers (since by phone database got wiped out) and teased each other, like old times... After a while, the time to part came, and we were on our way, which unfortunately required us to pass by the area where all the alums were gathered... Which meant that Bibs had a great opportunity to bedevil my life for (what I hope to be) the last time... I shall now have to redocument his last words to me from "Oi, wag ka raw magpaulan sabi ni bleep..."*** to "Oi miss mo na si bleep..? Iiiiii..."**** I'm not particularly sure of the exact thing he said, but he did have the guts to walk right up to me and say it... I'll give him credit for that... He's one of the few persons who can leave me utterly blank and speechless... I think I said something to him, but I can't remember... Damn Bibs..! Damn him to hell..! Bwahaha..!
So the arcading went well, when we arrived there was a tiny little boy playing on the DDR machine and it was amusing to watch because his head was no higher than the hand thingies... I have no idea what they're called... And while we were there, we saw another DDR patron, a boy, younger than us, I'm guessing around 10-12, what's weird about that is that we see him there every single time... Freaky... He even recognizes us now... And by the way, that boy is really good... It embarrasses me to play when he's there since I suck so badly...^^; You see, I have developed my own dancing style which I have dubbed "windshield wiper dancing" which means my arms remain completely motionless sans my wrists... I swear I'm so freaking bad at it, I used to wipe out on the first level... I don't now... But I'm still not good... At all... While wonder boy uses his arms, hips, feet and everything else and scares me in the process... His arms are freakishly long, I don't want to stand next to him, lest I get hit and suffer severe internal bleeding... And his hips... Boy, can he shake his booty... Like water... Fluid, I tell you... Which is why he terrifies me so...^^;
We stayed for a while (we would have left sooner if only so many people weren't trying to use the machine and taking multiple turns) and eventually got so impatient that we left the two tokens we had left in the machine to Dance Boy... We got pearl shakes after that (Vanilla for me and chocolate for her... Contrast yet again...^^) and... Went home... Yup... We didn't eat lunch or window shop because there were too many people for comfort...We will meet again on Monday, since we need our damn I.D. pictures taken if we don't want to hassle once school starts... By the way, school starts on Tuesday..! Holy... O_o
